This documentary brings together several distinct celebrations of the Virgen de Guadalupe in Durham, including those occurring outside a Durham apartment complex known as “la Maldita Vecindad” which is composed mainly of Mexican and Central American immigrants. Other celebrations include midnight processions, Mass and a relay run from Mexico City to New York City that passes through Durham.
