Durham County Library Welcomes Author Claudia Corletto in Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month

About: In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, Durham County Library will host local author Claudia Corletto for a reading and discussion of her first book, 7 cuentos, a collection of short stories and art. The reading will take place on Tuesday, October 1 at 7 p.m. at the Main Library, 300 N. Roxboro St.

Claudia Corletto is a writer, visual artist, couturier, speaker and art instructor. She has worked with the Carrboro ArtsCenter, LabourLove Gallery, Casa Esperanza Montessori School, Wake Tech Community College, the City of Raleigh Hispanic-Latino Initiatives Department, Happymess Art Studio, Fablab Carolinas, B.E.S.T. (Beautifying Emerging Spaces Together), the Visual Art Exchange, Redress Raleigh, the Pullen Arts Center Pleiades Art Gallery and etix. She currently serves on the board of the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
