Your Classic Convertible Can Be in Durham Parade

UPDATE (9/18): We have a car for the parade. Thanks for helping us out.

Durham County Library will be participating in the first ever Durham History Parade on Saturday, October 12 to help kickoff the grand opening of the Durham History Hub.

We’re looking for a classic convertible and driver to ferry our two North Carolina Collection staff members through the parade route.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. (arrive at 9 a.m. for line up) on East Main St. near the old courthouse and should last about 45 minutes. If you have a car you would be willing to loan the library, please contact us at librarywebmaster at dconc.gov.
