The Friends of the Durham Library were excited to host the 2013 Friends of the North Carolina Public Libraries (FNCPL) Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon.

Held at Main Library on Saturday, October 26, the FNCPL Annual Meeting brought together Friends from across North Carolina to share ideas about all aspects the organization. A highlight of the day was the awarding of the Frances B. Reid Outstanding Friends Group Awards and the Frannie Ashburn Volunteer of the Year Awards.
