The geologic history of North Carolina is one of the richest on Earth, and the record of that history is contained in the rocks of our state. Kevin Stewart, a professor of Geological Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill and co-author of the book Exploring the Geology of the Carolinas, will explain how the varied rocks of our state have been deciphered to provide this remarkable history.
