From Downtown Durham

Traveling south on Alston Avenue (Route 55), turn left onto Lawson Street. At the bottom of the hill, the library is on the left at Sima Street.

From Raleigh on I-40

From 1-40 West take exit 279B to merge onto NC 147 North toward downtown Durham. Take exit 10 for Briggs Avenue toward Durham Technical Community College. Keep left at the fork and follow the signs for Durham Tech. Turn left at South Briggs Avenue. Turn right at East Lawson Street.

From Chapel Hill

Follow North Fordham Boulevard/US15-501 North. Take exit 105A on the left for US15-501/Chapel Hill Boulevard toward South Square. Merge onto Durham Chapel Hill Boulvedard/US15-501North. Turn right at Hope Valley Road. Turn left at Cornwallis Road. Turn left at South Roxboro Street. Turn right at East Lawson Street.

From Southwest Durham

Head east on NC751/University Drive toward Hope Valley Road. Continue to follow University Drive. Slight right at West Cornwallis Road. Turn left at South Roxboro Street. Turn right at East Lawson Street.
