Durham County Library Hosts Art Exhibit and Talk on Mexico’s Workshop of Popular Graphic Art

Durham County Library will host Dr. Robert Healy for an overview of the Taller de Grafica Popular (Workshop of Popular Graphic Art) at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, at the Main Library, 300 N. Roxboro St. An exhibit of works from Healy’s collection will be on display from February 23 through March 15 at the Main Library, including a set of prints giving the Taller’s interpretation of some famous African Americans.

Durham County Library Hosts Art with the Experts: Doris Duke’s Shangri-La

Durham County Library will host the Nasher Museum of Art’s Juline Chevalier and Katie Adkins for a presentation and slide lecture on the museum’s exhibit Shangri La: Architecture, Landscape, and Islamic Art, which highlights the collection of American heiress and philanthropist Doris Duke.
