Durham County Library will kick off Positive Link, a series of teen workshops that offer information and guidance on self-esteem, career choices, bullying, gang violence and nutrition, on Thursday, September 4, at 6:30 p.m., at the East Regional Library, 211 Lick Creek Lane. Led by highly trained and certified representatives from the Durham County Health Department, Positive Link provides guidance and support that will help teens make healthy, conscientious decisions at crucial moments.

Durham County Library will host Breakfast @ Your Library and Lunchtime Adventures every Monday through Friday, June 16 – August 8. Breakfast @ Your Library will be from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Lunchtime Adventures will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Both meals will be served in the auditorium of the Main Library at 300 N. Roxboro Street.
Durham County Library will host a series of STEM programs for teens beginning on Monday, June 16, at the Main Library, 300. N. Roxboro Street. The programs are part of the Teen Tech Learning Lab – Where Science and Imagination Collide!, an initiative funded in part by a grant from Duke Energy Foundation and aimed at providing teens and young adults with ongoing experiential learning opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math related fields.
