Pinterest is a pinboard-style web site that allows users to create, manage and share theme-based collections such as recipes, events, interests and hobbies. According to Pew Research Center, Pinterest is currently tied with LinkedIn as the second most used social media site after Facebook.

With the motto “Failing at Pinterest pins so you don’t have to,” Foust’s blog documents her successes and failures with Pinterest pins. Like many of her readers, she looks at the photographs on Pinterest with the thought, “I can do that,” only to fail, and her trademark humor and sarcasm have won her many followers. Since its inception in December 2011, Foust’s humor has made Pintester an internet sensation. Foust has been featured in Bust Magazine and in the Associated Press, and has spoken at the BlogHer 2013 Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
