This is the second book in the series and just as enjoyable as the first. I like these types of mysteries. They’re quick, easy reads that don’t tax the mind too much. Typically I pick out the least likely character and that’s the villain who had some obscure reason to do it. This one actually kept me guessing (although I want to say I did figure out the secret ingredient in Margaret Louise’s pie pretty early on). It was still just as much fun.
Sweet Briar’s new librarian, Tori Sinclair, is busy again with another mystery. This time it’s the disappearance of her friend’s husband. With fun and well-written characters this quick read was really quite enjoyable. I’m looking forward to the next installment.
