About: Durham County Library presents Fall into Romance, a two day festival celebrating romance novels. The kick-off party is at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 4 at Black Twig Cider House, 2812 Erwin Road in Durham. On Saturday, November 5 the festival moves to Southwest Regional Library, 3605 Shannon Road in Durham, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
At Black Twig Cider House on Friday evening light appetizers will be served and drinks will be available for purchase. On Saturday at Southwest Regional Library the day will begin with a Romance Novel Book Swap starting at 10 a.m., so please bring romances you’d love to share with others. Following the book swap, there will be three featured speakers. Latoya Smith will talk about diversity in the publishing world, Piper Huguley will discuss different narratives in historical fiction, and Sonali Dev will talk about why she writes Bollywood romances. The authors will sign books afterwards.
