I know I am in good hands with Barbara Kingsolver. Although The Poisonwood Bible is still my favorite, this book did not disappoint. Millions of migrating monarch butterflies lose their way and end up wintering over on a Tennessee mountain. Dellarobia Turnbow, a disillusioned young farm wife, discovers them and soon scientists, tourists and the media descend upon this rural community. Kingsolver is able to weave the consequences of climate change into a story rich with unforgettable characters.
