Oscar Wilde and the Dead Man’s Smile

By Gyles Brandreth

This is the third in a series of mysteries featuring Oscar Wilde and his friend Robert Sherard, in kind of a Holmes/Watson relationship. I enjoyed the first 2 books, but found this one a little difficult to get through. It’s basically a prequel to the previous books, going back to the time when Wilde and Sherard first meet. The overall plot was disjointed and not at all engaging.
