Durham, NC – Durham County Library celebrates the close of Summer Reading 2017 with a finale celebration from 6:30 to 8: 30 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 at the Museum of Life and Science, 433 W Murray Ave, Durham, NC 27704. The event is free and open to Summer Reading participants. Tickets are required. Tickets are free, but limited. Tickets are available at Durham County Library’s regional libraries, Stanford L. Warren Branch Library, and Bragtown Library Family Literacy Center.

The Summer Reading Finale at the Museum of Life & Science is an “after hours” event just for library Summer Reading participants. Enjoy performances by Chris & Neal: Rockstar Magic and Melody Wilkes: A Walk in the Woods and explore the Museum of Life & Science’s exhibits and attractions.
