Durham, NC – Durham County Library presents ADF Book Discussion With Bill T. Jones at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 29 at South Regional Library, 4505 S. Alston Ave, Durham, NC 27713.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to engage in a book discussion with world-renowned dancer and choreographer Bill T. Jones. The Emigrants by W.G. Sebald is the inspiration for one of Jones’ performances, the ADF-commissioned Analogy/Ambros: The Emigrant. The novel is described by The New York Times book reviewer Larry Wolff as “a profound and original work of fiction, The Emigrants pursues the stories of four people as they move from land to land — and, above all, as they move through history” (March 30, 1997). Check out a copy from the library and join the discussion.
