Durham, NC – Durham County Library presents Documentary: Alice’s Ordinary People on Saturday, October 21 at 2 p.m. at the Stanford L. Warren Branch Library, 1201 Fayetteville St., Durham, NC 27707. This event is free and open to the public.
Alice’s Ordinary People is a new documentary about Alice Tregay – a woman who refused to stand still for injustice and brought others together to change what was. Her remarkable story spans the historic period from the marches of Dr. King to the election of Barack Obama, and her great contribution in the field of politics is the thread which connects the two.
