Durham, NC – Due to the impending storm, the Friends of the Durham Library’s book sale scheduled for September 15 – 16 has been postponed. The book sale will be Saturday, September 29, and Sunday, September 30 at Books Among Friends inside Northgate—immediately on the right as you exit Sears into the mall.
On Saturday, September 29 the sale is open to the public starting at 12 noon. For early access starting at 10 a.m., purchase an annual individual membership ($15) or family membership ($25) at the door. On Sunday, September 30 all are welcome to shop at the $10-per-bag sale from 1 to 4 p.m.
Hardbacks are $3, trade paperbacks are $2, small paperbacks and young adult books are $1, and children’s books are 25 cents to $1. AV materials are $1 to $4, and special books are priced as marked.
Proceeds go to the Friends of the Durham Library, a nonprofit that helps the Durham County Library fund programs, services, and materials.
