Durham, NC – Durham County Library presents Art with the Experts: People Get Ready on Monday, November 19 at 7 p.m. at North Regional Library, 221 Milton Rd., Durham, NC 27712. This program is free and open to the public.

Join Trevor Schoonmaker, Chief Curator and Patsy R. and Raymond D. Nasher Curator of Contemporary Art, from the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, for a discussion and slide lecture on People Get Ready: Building a Contemporary Collection. This exhibition draws primarily on additions to the Nasher Museum’s collection over the last 12 years and includes works dating from 1970 through 2018 that engage issues ranging from cultural identity to social justice and environmentalism.
