Come hear the coauthors discuss their joint work, Going to School in Black and White: A Dual Memoir of Desegregation. These two witnesses to public school desegregation tell their stories and share their personal experiences. Graduates of Durham’s Hillside high school, the authors have created a space for dialogue about race, class, and education — subjects that are still very relevant today.
