Durham, NC – Durham County Library presents Sister Cities Program: Citizen Diplomacy in China on Saturday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Southwest Regional Library, 3605 Shannon Rd., Durham, NC 27707. This event is free and open to the public.

On a recent visit to China, three Sister Cities members embraced the spirit of Citizen Diplomacy in a country once considered a close ally. Come hear their stories of travel and cultural exploration within China—including an encounter with the son of a Flying Tiger pilot who was shot down over Hong Kong. The images and insights gained from their trip helped to enhance an important cultural bond.
