In reflecting on the year, Durham Library Foundation Board President Ann Craver said, “While obviously disappointed we were unable to celebrate the planned April reopening of renovated Main Library and our donors’ contributions of $1.5 million in upgrades to this magnificent community asset, the Foundation is not missing a beat during COVID-19. We recently approved a new round of grants to the library, including $25,000 toward collection enhancements of audio and ebooks, which are in hot demand by patrons during the pandemic.”
