Read-a-thon

Read-a-thon is a reading challenge to prioritize reading during a 48-hour period. The 48-hour challenge starts Thursday, April 10, at 7:00 p.m. and ends on Saturday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. You can participate by reading, listening to audiobooks, attending live readings, and more!

This challenge is meant to be completed in a fun, healthy way. The purpose is to prioritize reading during the 48-hour period (not to stay up for 48 hours straight!). Maybe you listen to an audiobook on a walk around the neighborhood. Maybe you read a few pages of your ebook while in line at the grocery store. Keep an eye out for mini challenges and Read-a-thon events.

Join us for an adults only (21+) Read-A-Thon event at Main Library on Thursday, April 10, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.! We’ll provide space to read and plenty of reading-adjacent activities, including: Poetry Readings with Poetry Fox, an open mic, craft activities, and more! Registration is required – link coming soon!
