Durham County Library Bragtown Branch to Modify Opening Hours

Durham, NC — Beginning on Monday, September 8, Durham County Library’s Bragtown Branch will modify its Monday opening hours to 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The library branch will now be open from Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Originally opening in 1962 as a branch of the Stanford L. Warren Branch Library, Bragtown Branch Library serves as an important resource hub for what was once a predominantly rural area of Durham County.

“Our Bragtown Branch Library is such an important fixture in the community,” said Felicia Brown, Bragtown Branch Library location manager. “Opening for additional hours on Monday mornings will mean greater access to the resources and services the Bragtown community needs to thrive.”

For additional information about opening hours at all seven of our brick-and-mortar locations, please visit DurhamCountyLibrary.org/hours-and-locations.
