Durham County Library to Host Holiday Model Train Show
Durham, NC — In collaboration with Little World Charity, Durham County Main Library will host the Holiday Model Train Show beginning Tuesday, December 16 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 – 5 p.m. The show will take place in the Children’s Programming Area on the second floor. Ten model trains will travel through scenes with themes like the North Carolina State Fair, Dinosaur Land, Outer Space, and more.
“I’m so happy to see the train exhibit returning to Main Library,” said Tina Economou, Main Library’s Children’s Services Manager. “It was a big hit with kids and grown-ups alike last year, and I’m excited to see how this year’s show will turn out!”
The Holiday Model Train Show will run from Tuesday, December 16 through Monday, January 5. The 400 square foot exhibit will close on Sundays and all other Durham County holidays.
