Durham County Library’s Main Library, located at 300 N. Roxboro Street, will close today, July 26, at 3 p.m. due to an unexpected HVAC issue. Main Library will reopen as soon as possible once the repairs have been completed.
Durham County Library has new, expanded business hours beginning Tuesday, July 20. Main Library will reopen on the same day from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will begin operating on the updated business hours outlined below on Wednesday, July 21.

Durham County Library enters Phase 2 of reopening on June 16 with the launch of Library Take-Out! Starting June 16, library customers will be able to log in to their account online at DurhamCountyLibrary.org or call 919-560-0103 to place a hold on books and audiovisual material for pick up at the library.
