Poster printer
Create high-quality, large-scale prints for all your poster needs.
Durham County Library has an HP Designjet T120 poster printer. For more information and specifications, please visit the product website.
You can also reserve a time to work with staff to print a poster. When you reserve a time, you will still need to submit the image in advance so it can be accessed via staff devices.
Pricing
- 2 Foot Poster – 24” X 24” = $5.00
- 3 Foot Poster – 24” X 36” = $10.00
- 6 Foot Poster – 24” X 72” = $15.00
- 8 Foot Poster – 24” X 96” = $20.00
Usage procedures
To use this equipment, you will need to have completed any required training and signed a safety waiver for the current year.
Design creation
- Designs must not violate the Library’s Technology Policy.
- Designs must not be larger than the dimensions of the poster printer.
- 2 Foot Poster – 24” X 24” = $5.00
- 3 Foot Poster – 24” X 36” = $10.00
- 6 Foot Poster – 24” X 72” = $15.00
- 8 Foot Poster – 24” X 96” = $20.00
Submitting a design
- Must be 13 years of age or older or have parent/guardian permission.
- Staff review all project files, so please submit appropriate designs.
- Keep in mind when submitting your design that the library poster printer and software are not able to change the printer’s small margin or modify image quality. Library staff cannot modify, enlarge, re-scale, or otherwise change images.
- Staff reserve the right to refuse to print any item.
Final product
- Print times may vary depending on your design and staff availability, but please allow for up to 2 weeks for your poster(s) to be ready.
- Library staff are not responsible for the outcome of your print.
- The cost for your poster(s) will be charged to your library account.
- You must pay for your poster(s) before pick-up.
- Poster(s) must be picked up within 7 days of receiving an email from Library staff.
What if my project doesn’t come out the way I wanted it?
We will work with you to determine the best resolution for your project. We can’t guarantee how your project will turn out, however. You are responsible for all costs associated with using the equipment or materials. Fees are non-refundable once they have been paid from your account.
